Don Erik is San Diego native but moved to the Big Island in 2001 to begin his tattoo apprenticeship with Doc Bentley at TNT Tattoo, Hawaii. Now, with 16 years under his belt, Erik is solid tattoo artist and avid tattoo historian whom embraces the folk-art aspect of early to mid-century American tattoo art.
